It is very hard to accept how fast this summer has flown by! I have been working on many projects at once and therefore not finishing anything - how disappointing. I think I will have to set a priority list so I can soon have that feeling of accomplishment.
So here goes:
1) my daughter's quilt - she is waiting patiently and the top is being sewn together right now;
2) pajama pants for said daughter out of penguin fleece;
3) quillow for said daughter out of penquin fleece;
4) the rag rug from t-shirts - the first white strip is crocheted, the colored t-shirts are still being cut;
5) the overnight bag from the leather coat my Mom gave me - I REALLY want to to this, if anyone has any tips or ideas, I am open. The jacket is being taken apart and going together in my head right now but I am so interested, I soon need to make it happen. I also have a plaid wool coat with a belt I can recycle - any ideas???;
6) the cable wool purse I am knitting from a pattern on the DROPS website;
7) a vintage sheet quilt - the sheets stare at me everytime I enter my sewing room - they really want to go back on a bed in some shape or form; and
8) I want a new sewing machine - I really need to take the time to read the reviews on Sew Mama Sew and see what it is exactly I want and need.
I'm sure there is more to add to my 'list' and I am going to do that as I think of things. Wow, this is a great way to organize my "Dory" mind.
